Death Before Dishonor and Bridge Nine are proud to announce the Limited Edition 7″ EP & Digital Download for Our Glory Days. Featuring two tracks, “Coffin Nail” and “Our Glory Days” which features guest vocals from Mark Unseen, which will be featured on Better Ways To Die and an exclusive song only available on this EP, this is the first taste people will get of what Death Before Dishonor is set to unleash July 28th.
Better Ways To Die is Death Before Dishonor solidifying their name as one of the front-runners of the Boston hardcore scene worldwide. Somehwere between the harder punk edge of Rancid, the working class anthems of Dropkick Murphys, the hardcore attack of Hatebreed and the precision and fury of Slayer, Better Ways To Die truly is the sound of an American hardcore band that knows their roots and history-and they’re not afraid to step beyond that.
The band is gearing up for a worldwide onslaught of touring. Starting in the USA with the 10 for $10 tour-along side Poison the Well, Madball, Terror, Bane, VOD and more. Then off to Europe August 6th and then it will just keep going as always.
We just got announced to be on the 10 for $10 summer hardcore tour. We can’t wait to be back on the road with some of our great friends and to make some new ones. Dates and ticket info are below! Here is the official press release…
INDIEMERCHSTORE.COM PRESENTS
10 FOR $10 HARDCORE SUMMER TOUR!
HEADLINED BY
POISON THE WELL, MADBALL, VISION OF DISORDER & BANE
APPEARANCES BY TERROR, CRIME IN STEREO, VISION, WAR OF AGES, DEATH BEFORE DISHONOR, TRAPPED UNDER ICE, THE GHOST INSIDE, THE MONGOLOIDS, THIS IS HELL, AND MORE!
IndieMerchStore.com is bringing back the hardcore matinee! Amid economy woes, rising show costs and the dilution of hardcore packages, they will present the 10 For $10 summer tour. Ten quality bands for ten dollars, headlined by Poison The Well, who will be performing on every date, and on separate legs of the tour headline spots from Madball, Bane and Vision Of Disorder. Also appearing will be established bands with rabid followings such as Terror, Death Before Dishonor, War Of Ages, Crime In Stereo, Trapped Under Ice, The Mongoloids, The Ghost Inside, This Is Hell and Vision. Speaking on the creation of the tour booking guru Tim Borror of The Agency Group said, “This tour is important because hardcore music is a lifestyle and has been an inspiration to the people who get involved and know what the movement and music is all about. In the last few years the crowds have been a bit smaller than what they should be and we hope an idea like this where kids are getting an opportunity to check out a lot of bands for cheap will inspire some new kids to come out, get involved and become a part of this scene to help it grow.”
Echoing the sentiment Freddy Cricien of Madball said, “This 10 for 10 tour concept is way overdue in my opinion. I’m glad and thankful, that the people involved, stepped up to actually make something like this happen! Our genre (Hardcore) in the states, is in a “strange” place right now. There is somewhat of a lack of appreciation for this “sub-culture”. A lot of people want to say they know certain bands, or are affiliated with this underground scene, etc, etc… Because it gives them some credibility, it sounds cool! Well, this is everyones chance to re-introduce themselves, and actually get involved with a very unique and authentic genre/movement. It’s also a chance for all of us, the bands, to show our stuff as well!”
Poison The Well’s guitarist, Ryan Primack, says, “This tour is really exciting to us as it shows some massive diversity that occurs in the hardcore scene. I think it’s really amazing that Tim put this group of bands together. Some of bands on this tour have really shaped the good things that are happening in hardcore right now. Without some of the bands on this tour I doubt we would even be a band. Were honored and privileged to be sharing the stage with them.” Poison The Well’s new album, The Tropic Rot, will be released via Ferret Music July 7th.
Additional tour sponsors also include Facedown Records, Century Media Records, Pitchfork Hardwear, Bridge Nine Records, Peta2, Black N Blue Productions, Hollywood Music TV, Ferret Music, and The Agency Group.

Our new CD/LP comes out July 28th on Bridge 9. A 7″ will come out before the CD that will feature 2 songs from the CD and a Bruisers cover. Be on the lookout…
Our tour with This is Hell was canceled due to Mexico being on lockdown and their recording in California getting canceled. Keep your eyes open for future dates with them and a couple other bands this summer. After that, we’re headed back to Europe in August/September to play some festivals and our own run to support our new CD. More news on that to come.
We just got home. I didn’t get to update very much the last couple weeks on tour. I had a lot more pictures but they got deleted cus my memory card was bad or something. I dunno. Either way, here are a bunch of pictures I took since then. Enjoy.

Berlin and Warschau were both epic fuckin good times! thanks to everyone that came out and got wild with us. Tonite is Leipzig and it looks like its gearing up to be an excellent night too! I’m about to go watch the Crushing Caspars led by legendary porn star Snoopy! See u in tha pit!
We’re in Freiburg today, waiting for pork steaks on the grill. Gains. There are cool dogs and hot broads here…. and internet, so we are happy. Steve from Nations Afire likes to stare at me from across the room like a creep. He’s got great hair. I hope for circlepits tonight.
I have no new pics, but here's my favorite of me and Ben.
Right now we’re in Solothurn, Switzerland. Death By Stereo is playing tonight. We got to sleep in and had a really awesome dinner last night in Germany. Steak, schnitzel, fries, etc. Here are some pictures I’ve taken since the last update.
We’ve been in Europe for 4 days now. So far everything is great except last night was out first overnight drive in the van and it was pretty uncomfortable. Rob tried to sleep on the floor in between the seats. I probably switched between 3 different positions throughout the night and barely slept. I don’t think anybody else got much either. I somehow also lost my voice. Cool. So right now we’re in Badalona, Spain. The next 5 shows are with Walls of Jericho. We played with them on the first day of the tour at Groezrock. Groezrock was awesome. We played the smaller stage with no barrier and it was a great first show. Thanks to everyone who watched us and stagedove and sang along. Here are some pictures I’ve taken so far from this tour. At the bottom you can watch a song from our set at Groezrock. The 2nd one is a video of Frankie going up against Candace from Walls of Jericho in some videogame competition they had set up at Groezrock.
This show was amazing. H2O played before us and I just remember most of us being super nervous. We have seen videos of With Full Force before and heard how great it is to play. We came out and the place just exploded. It was an awesome experience. I hope we get to play again someday. Until then, we will be in Europe next weekend for a month with Nations Afire! Check the tourdates for more info. Here is a video from the WFF DVD.
